Always trust your instincts and seek medical help if something feels off.
Urgent Signs:
- Fewer than 6 wet diapers a day after the first week.
- No stools for more than 2 days in the early weeks.
- Baby hasn’t regained birth weight by 2 weeks.
- Excessive sleepiness, limpness, or weak sucking.
- Vomiting, diarrhea, or signs of dehydration (sunken soft spot, dry lips).
